I love the use of the splatter and I think you did a fantastic job blending your colours via b/g. I also feel your focal is well "nested" into his surroundings. I also feel you did well to not make the text stand on top of your render, though I feel the text wasn't needed.

I would tho say that you did some good colour blending, I feel you might have gone more into monotone and I would suggest trying to incorp a stronger colour in here, maybe more white ???

I also feel that perhaps you should go a little stronger with your burn tool to bring more attention into center.
