Took a look at some PSD's, learned a few things :)

The smudge in this one is really good, way better than the bird man smudge in your sig space
keep meesing around with this smudge style, and try adding more ;)

It has very good movement and a good focal. Although the smudging seems a bit too hard for my liking, try toning down the strength of the brush a bit.
