Solace (Space Art)

Well i love space art and seeing everyone else getting into i thought i would get back into it too!!! Oh yeah, the planet was made in C4D

You know the best thing about doing space art? You get to call it awesome-ass names =p I called mine 'Ventura'.
Anyway, looks epic, the planet especially.

Planet is really nice! Good texture.
Lighting is fine, can be blurred more, since you can see "levels" of color.
Not bad for first try :)

your gradients are a bit screwed, probably to do with something not being set to bicubic.
and the shadow is very harsh.. needs blurring.

Why does the planet have a shade in "dead space"??

The light is a bit overpowering, one side is all bright and purple/pink, the other just black.

Planet looks dope!!!
