just bought it, any suggestions on stuff/tips

Rangers are pretty hard to join a party with unless your pretty good. I'd start off a Warrior/Monk to learn the game, or an Elementalist/Monk.

I'll hook you up with some runes and one of the best swords you can get when you get past the Academy.

Oh, And don&#39;t go past the academy until your like level 6< and have done most of the quests.

Oh, and add Maverick Darkarz to your friends list..(At least I think thats what my name is..)

I&#39;d advice against a W/Mo... they&#39;re literally a dime a dozen once you get farther into the game. Everyone wants one, and everyone has one.

You can add Ragnar Redblaze to your list, I can help you through any mission.
