Yes this is true, seven years ago Apathy was diagnosed with contagious butt crust, anyone within a 3 mile radius of him for a period of longer than 20 minutes has a high chance of being infected.
We keep him locked up and in quarantine most of the time though, he tends to like living his life in solitude and don't you worry - he is fed the best meat Walmart can buy. Sometimes he gets put on shows which brings in money for the void.
