I'm sure this has happened to a few of you...The other day my firefox stopped letting me get to secure sites. I can't log into Gmail, or my bank account online. It's done this before, and i didn't f*ck with any of the settings. This drove me to reformatting, but i have a whole lot to back up if i'm going to do that and i really don't want to do that.
Sounds pretty weird... I have been using FireFox a long time and hasnt happened to me, maybe try contacting firefox's support? or just try reinstalling firefox, I guess thats better than formatting :)

Never happened to me either.
Had it happen to me when I upgraded from 1.01 to 1.02. Haven't been able to resolve it yet. Had to go back to IE to get to the secure sites.
Firefox support kept blaming my firewall..... even though I wasn't running one, and it worked in 1.0.1 Yep that's my firewalls' problem.
It happend to me. i switchd over to Opera
