Have you played with either hue/sat on clip mask to your objests you wish to change or even selective colour. ppl always tend to forget selective colour, it's a really wicked tool once you get used to it.
Hes very sharp and nice, but he is too sharp for your such blurred background. My suggestion would be to go back and take away some of the blur and only blur selective areas, to better help make this piece look more detailed.
Take your black brush and darken up some of those already shadowed areas in your tag and then put it on overlay and lower opacity to it ( dont forget to lower opacity of your brush as well) This will help you create more shadow but punch up those colours you are playing with.
Keep going I'm sure you will have more of a smile once you got w/e it is you wish to do ^^
