I don't feel the background ties in well with the subject, but I think the text and lighting, and depth are all pretty nicely done.
I think it looks pretty nice, the topaz works quite well for once but I'd love to see a version without it.
My only gripe would be the difficulty in finding the focal - lighten it up a bit? :3
