I haven't seen any of your other pieces, so I don't know what sort of level you're working at - I like the colours on the left hand side and the light source, but I feel there's a bit too much going on on the right hand side, it's quite chaotic and there's no real flow. Slightly over sharpened around the headpiece. I think a smudging technique would work better with a render like this, or using a stock background.
Try experimenting a bit more, but I can see what you mean by it being a difficult render to use and I think you've made a good effort.

Yea I definitly get what you mean, I never really finished it because I kind of got stuck with what to think. I feel like Im terrible at using stocks as well :P, I havent really experimented with them all that much and I dont really have any at use or know of any place to find good stocks. But thank you for the CnC

You can normally find some good stocks in the same places you find renders. If I remember correctly, the Void has some resource packs for stocks too, may be worth checking out. :)

the thing that bothers me is that there's a quality loss in colors, the colors are dull due to the fact that there's too much black.
when you place black over something just to make it darker the colors become Gray-ish, which kills most colors.
I don't know if that made any sense at all, I suck at explaining things. but I hope you will take it in mind in your next pieces.
colors are the most important thing TO ME.
