Here's my first attempt at smudging which just happens to be my first tag since last February. Please CnC as I honestly have never tried smudging before and really have no basis for learning other than your reviews. Thanks in and advance as always :chuncky:

I like the colour scheme you are going for but I think you need to focus a bit more on the focal point in the signature. You have smudged certain points of the render in an attempt to blend it which kind of distracts from the piece as a whole. Also keep in mind when you are smudging that you should try to flow the smudging along the original contours of the render.
The right side of this signature is flowing in two directions while the left side is flowing around the render. Don't worry this is soooo much better than my first smudge signature lol
