Hi I'm new to the whole Photoshop tutorial things.

When you're starting out - A dedicated website.
When you're experienced - Google, because... laziness.
Stocks are images that you are free to use and manipulate. Google is not to be preferred since the search results also includes copyrighted images.
deviantART is a good site for quality stocks and other useful resources. But you are only allowed to use the images and items submitted to the "Resources & Stock Images" category, all other categories contains artworks of other artists and it would be stealing/ripping to use those. Stocks sometimes have rules on how to use them, read the artists description or regulations to follow them properly. It's usually written in the description if there are rules to follow or if the stock is free to use for anything.
Hope this may help you to find some nice stocks :encouragement:
If you're looking for free stocks to use then Stock exchange is probably the more popular free sites to use - http://www.sxc.hu/
There's also Morgue file; also free, probably not as many good stocks there, but still a great site - http://morguefile.com/
