I've tried to improve the flow and the lighting a bit more to make this signature.

Howdy partner.

So, I see where you are trying to establish flow and did an okay job of it. However take note to the direction the render itself flows. It travels northeast to the upper corner of tag. And on the south west in the lower left corner. And you have the 3d render going in opposite directions of the render. Text also can kill a tag if not done right. I myself am a tag killer when it comes to text. lets see more work mate!
