I really like the first piece my friend. Very nice lighting. I also feel that it looks like you took the render, placed it on a canvas and added lighting. So as for the artistic style I cannot say much for. But none the less the turnout is nice.

Second is very plain and simple but sometimes that works out just right. In this case, it is appealing to my eyes. The flow works from the color burst, however the back is very still and boring, not alot going on with it. Nice lighting throughout. Only complaint is the text....I suck at text still so I dont feel I have the ight to regard that matter however, it could be better.

the whole idea of that tag was lighting because as you will see in the future i suck at it :)

i'll be uploading a new tag later on today , ill try and include artistic effects :P and lighting and work on the text
