Beginner to Smudging

I love smudges and envy those who have mastered the style. I hope to one day become half as good as them.

Anyways here is my first attempt to many more.

Apart from the text the smudge isn't to bad, practice makes perfect.

That is mine, I am not sure if I still have the psd

I don't think the smudging matters much in this piece, the way you added the colors made this stand out. Nice.
Text seems odd, not bad, but could be better.. I think it's the black border that's annoying me a small bit.
