Liking the initial design of it :). Although, I think it would come out nicer with some other colors otherwise it starts to just be monotone. Maybe add in some dark silver-tone for the alien instead of just blue? Also, I like the space in the background, but that other bit of area around his head is somewhat low quality, so it might be better if you could change that, would make a big difference IMO.
that was a texture but now i see it i'll erase that bit
Nice start. Not so sure about the c4ds but that's just me. Maybe as you have some lighting on the mask left and right add some heavily smudged and blurred light either side of the mask to make the mask blend into the BG better.
