Extremely mesmerizing, and I actually enjoy the use of topaz in this piece, great work.

I think you should work on creating a more appealing background (the area where the lightsource is). Just the idea of having a beautiful space-like nebula is overused.

Also, the shadow of the child is off; it would not overlap the bush.

the bottom half look great. but the sky and clouds looks like a green screen in a movie or a painted background. the cloud in the middle just behind the kid is where the sky looks flat or off angled. if that made sense.
