ok, i just got myself an ipod mini, and when i try to install the software, this message comes up:
1607: unable to instal InstallShield Scripting Runtime.
ok. wtf does that mean?! i know my computer is crap but there is no reason this should come up, i have all the system requirements. anyone know about this?
I tried to MOD my Ipod and it said i had to run ipod update ...it didnt work so i quit trying to mod it but i dunno if it will help.... :lol: i have no clue what u should do................

Try rebooting your pc with the software jacked in.
If that doesn't work, try this:

5. Follow the Installer's instructions and you're all set. The next time you open iTunes, you can plug in the iPod and it should find it. In fact, your PC won't see it until you launch iTunes so make sure you open it first.
what do you mean "Try rebooting your pc with the software jacked in."? reboot with the disk in the computer?
