tried for bout an hour to do something with animation but it just doesn't seem to work?

Look for tutorials on like http://www.pixel2life.com or other sites.
Well if your moving something just keep duplicating that frame moving the thing you want to a little each frame.
i have what i want in image ready but how do i same it as .gif, it says i can only save it as .pnd :(

ive been to both of them and i still cant save as 'gif
Did you go to Window>Optimize? GIF must be selected there otherwise, it's useless. Make sure it's checkmarked and that the optimization window is open, then make sure GIF is selected.
The first time I used IR, it was set on JPG and I had to set it to GIF.
