Brushes are stuck on white

well i cant get them to go to any other colour its just always white can anyone help

are u sure u r on brushes? sometimes u can be on Re-do Brush or something like that. make sure ur actually on teh Brush Tool and not the redo brush. (right click on teh pencil tool and hit brush tool)

try what reaver said, and if all else fails push D for default colors.

when you go file>new, make sure you're not on grayscale mode either.

Make sure you're not on the eraser tool aswell.
