Well got Apophysis yesterday and used an existing script with few modifications and it got pretty good.
Used existing gradients too.
PS: Not the best quality.(used 3000 as quality)

I did a firework thingy yesterday too with maya so i might post it too.
With "existing script" you mean random batch? Try to stay away from random batches and make everything yourself. Or at least delete alot af the triangles in the editor and then create own ones.
The fractal looks kinda messy. It looks a bit like someone threw some paint on a canvas and then took a stick and messed it up.
Experiment on your own, and don't be afraid to do postwork in Photoshop.

it looks too random, looks like you have hardly edited :| so..
keep trying and make loads of them, you dont have to post them all, makeloads, sav them, then render the best five out of 30 or sumthing ;)
