Anyone play WoW on priv. servers?

I have never really found any interest in those kinds of games. Although a lot of my friends at school play it and talk about it all of the time.

why private servers?

I can see why people like this game, but i don't think it's worth the amount of money spent on it... And no i don't use private servers. I don't even use public servers :O haha. I would buy the game if i had the time for it... and if it was free....maybe

Private Servers are not good >.> You never get the same experience and most things doesn't work at all.
And besides, many quests are missing on emulated servers.

I've never played it and private servers are free, and it looks like fun.
However my comp cant support it so fakkit

priv servers are illegal and wow can't be played right on a emu server anyways because is updating all the time so you miss out on LOTS of stuff >< damn noob herny

I played the beta and about three or four months I think when it got released.
Waste of money in my opinion.
After a year max. you'll get bored of it, at least I and most of the people I know who used to play did.

also many people are addicted to it. its fun every now and then, but not worth the cash. too monotonous.

WoW is worse than cigarettes. take that from a guy who knows how addiciting both are. i used to played every hour i was awake (and some when i wasn't... ;D). I haven't played in forever, but i sure as hell miss it. it's great if your parents are paying for it. there's just so much fucking stuff to do. i'd play it if it weren't so fucking time consuming. that's the only problem with it, it's not for the casual gamer.

i used to play it but i found i didn't have time to do anything else so i he end i jus had to stop i couldn't just sit there for 1 hour i could never get myself off it VERY ADDICTING believe me

Wow just plain sucks.. it's like when they sell a copy of the game they scent it in nicotine.. and when you buy an online download they secretely come into your room at night and fit a canister of nicotine in your pc so when run: WOW.exe is double clicked the canister starts despensing..

its never really appealed to me, now that college n stuff has kicked in im out most nights, south park episode was funny though, pissed me off when all the geeks started commenting on all the thing wrong with it like OMFGcantbeawarriorcoshehasabow and stuff

It is actually quite an amazing and innovative piece of gaming technology. One of the best and most fun games I have ever played. Sure it's addictive, but that's only because it's a whole lotta fun.

WoW looks like it would be pretty fun, but it's best to stay away if you want to have a life muah.

i'm so making a film or an anime of groups of teens all like hooked on technology that like battle it out for no particular reason then at the end all the servers shut down.. and like they walk out.. and it's THE REAL WORLD! the a sequel will be of them trying to function in real life.. roflrofl

Pretty much. I play it, I think it's way fun, but I've never gotten addicted. The game is fun with friends, like last time me and my buddies had a big LAN we started new characters and just went from level 1 to like 19 and did BG's. Well and we were drunk. Actually a pretty fun activity while drunk :P. The only reason I keep my account is because it's on my dad's credit card and he's forgotten about it and hasn't asked me for a payment in like a year. If he ever asks me to pay for a month I'm cancelling it on the spot.

I used to play WOW in a private server for about 2 months cause i dint had any money..let me tellu this...PRV servers are better in XP they sell LG epics on the stores the drop rates are different...in any case THEY ARE TOO LAGY..i had like 43000ms when i used to play
they are most of em empty cause all the ppl playing into official and the noobs that they play there are too imba so u cant tell em anything...i can remeber that i had tanked Rangaros by myself
with my DMG equipement...i have the vis it was really awesome(if it didnt had laaag)..:p

Oh btw septicX, I play a frost mage and you do realise that a Warrior is like putty in our hands? Seriously warriors cant do anything against mages, so in your sig I advise looking for a real challenge, like a Shadow Priest or something.

Its quite a decent game, i used to play it but recently stopped due to fucking up my school .. games + school don't mix. Anyways its a fun game if you give it a chance and the higher you are the funner it gets. Private servers when i first played them about, 1 1/2 years ago they were buggy as hell, most of the spells didnt work and hardly any people were on, if anything on wow europe there are more than 6mill people playing it so if you dont like the game there are always nice people to talk with.

Meh, My brother has the game so I play on his account from time to time. I have a Dwarf Hunter and a Undead Rouge.

haha i played also, but then BC camed out and my account expired too, and i had 500$, i had to choose, i buy a camera, or that game what steals my time... well i think i made the good decision, thou i'm gonna continue after my big exams :D

WoW freakin' rocks. Amazing game. I have a 34 dwarf pally, 34 dwarf hunter, 19 gnome mage, a 19 taruen warrior, and 19 tauren druid. Lol... lots of toons.

i played for a while on my friend's account... its a good game, but wayyy too time consuming.
