voted for dragonslayer. he pulled off a nice sig with simplicity. at a time when people throw complex abstract backgrounds in for the heck of it, its nice to see somethin as simple (and still effective) as that sig. good work.

Ok, first of all, I entered never expecting to win and it ended up people liked it. Deep Blue, how can you say I am overrated from a piece of shit creation like that? How pathetic. I think that anything entered should be eligible to win the SOTW contest anyway. So if people like something that could be funny, like mine might have been, it should have the chance to be in there and win the contest. Also, I don't care if I win so take my entry out all you want if you want to complain. I'm not trying to win, just have fun, at least this time.

the point of a SOTW is to see who has the best sig, its up to POPULAR VOTE, if they think it is the best sig up there, and they vote for it, its because they like it more than the others, whether it be simple, or complex. his isnt the only simple one up there, and who cares if its humorous or not, so is napolean dynamite.
and this attacking people and putting them down is a bunch of BS, and not to be had. i may not be able to delete the post myself, but i am able to inform those who can, and will. so that crap has got to go.
now, as for this compitetition as a whole, good luck to all who enter, no matter how hard you worked, i hope you win. but the putting down of others, and disqualification of other who still follow guidelines will not be done! and if you are beat by a simple sig, you only reason you have to be mad is because YOU did not come up with the idea that YOU got beaten by.

Maybe we all should send our works in prv msg to Obvilion. And on signature instead of our nick should be name SOTW (number).

oh and twan - overrated means when you do a bad piece of art (wether its funny or not) and people say its amazing etc etc. i apoligise to maso and ob i just think this forum should be more about art and less about popularity
I'm feel insulted that you guys want to disqualify someones signature because it isnt good. If people want to vote for a crappy, funny signature, people can. If people feel that a signature is good and deserves the vote - they can vote for it.
You guys need to chill the hell out. I'm not going to disqualify any signature because you feel their art isnt up to 'par'. His signature was the only unique looking one here, and thats why I feel its going to win - if anything you guys should learn.
If you dont win the competition, thats a pretty inmature reason to leave the forums. If anything, you should try harder on the next SOTW to distinguish yourself from all the other signatures like. I would be very sad if you do leave deep, because I enjoy talking with you and such.

Dont apologize to me, you didnt insult me - you insulted twan. As I was saying, I think the reason he is winning is because his was actually FUNNY or UNIQUE unlike many of the other ones - thats why people should strive to make something unique.
no insult here, i just wanted to say what i thought and stop all this crap, i didnt mean to hurt any ones feelings (dont think i did though) and just wanted to express the way it should be, or at least as i thought it should, didnt mean to sound like a d***, but i was not in a good mood that night already.
man, the SOTW has had a lotta drama in it.
I would have voted for Tom's if I had seen it.. but my comp didn't load it fast enough. So I chose bad boys.. the tech border is cool.
Not bashing on anyone..but I just want to know why I didn't get atleast 1 vote!..I mean even Crystal Dragon got a vote! That sig was thrown together like a pizza! just a picture and some text..thats all!..he probably voted for himself if any..but still!
