Ok, Microsoft did not purchase the Unreal Engine. Sony PS3 is going to have the next UT game also, using the same engine that XBox 360 will use. And the PS3 is said to be under $400. Read the news, I have subscriptions to 3 magazines :)

ps3 had to cut out some of its "rediculous power" to save it from being a "rediculous price".

360 > ps3

Ps2 sells are way higher then xbox, even in America.

and UT games do not belong on consoles, just like AA does not belong on ps2

Actually, I bought Unreal Championship 2 for XBox for my bday, badass game.

And yes sales are way higher everywhere. PS2 dominated all the others, just like PS1 did.

My bro is gonna get a 360, I personally don't care, they both seem to be good, and both will have good games. That's all that matters to me...


Right now though, my PS2 is cooler than his X-Box :P

Look at the overall sales of ps2 against xbox

and then look at the xbox product placement in every movie out there

no shit the overall sales are bigger. it was released first, and people didn't want to buy the xbox right after the ps2.

thats why i posted the recent sales, which xbox is dominating in. don't ignore that. The REASON for that is because people finally noticed that the xbox perfoms better, has just as good if not better games, and has xbox live.

i'll translate.
When it was written, in april, (and it has only gone up from there), the xbox sold more units than the ps2. Now if you would like more facts, i can get you some, but I don't see why no one pays attention to this. Recently, xbox has been MUCH more successful than the ps2. It's now getting a lot of coverage.. as you said. and why not? is there a problem with using an xbox in a movie instead of a ps2? it's an all out better system. and like i said, i can show you the hardware specs to prove it. And, as I showed, it is now more popular than the ps2, for good reason.

from what im seeing the 360 is going to have better games

but microsoft and mountain dew are giving away like 9,000 360's with the every10minutes contest

They have both been out for how many years? Just wait, the first couple months after the ps3 realeses it will have way over the sales xbox did.

It doesn't matter if xbox has been selling more, because most of the people buying them probably have ps2's and the only reason they are getting them is for Halo 2 which sucked.
