lol you act like the only reason people have an xbox is for halo2
i <3 <3 <3 my xbox as you can tell, and i will be the first one to say halo 2 was a load of shit
in fact.. i think i was the first one at my school to say it, people were all obsessing over it, then they saw it my way. but that's a whole other discussion.
it just comes down to what games you want when you argue about the 360 vs ps3 because, as said before, their hardware is hardly comparable. It is an unnoticable difference between the 2. However this was not the case between the xbox and ps2, which is why i said something.
Here are the hardware comparisons:

While both systems still play well, the xbox has the undeniable advantage in raw power. Also, it has the hard drive and 4 controller slots to the ps2's memory card and 2 controller slots. In my opinion, the ps2 had no advantage over the xbox, and the only reason it had bigger sales was because it was the first of the revolutionary systems to be released, and people were so excited to get their hands on it instead of looking at the facts.
XBox has like 5 games that I like and thats about it. Halo 2 is a let down anyways... fun for bout 2 monthes then it was old, and plus the single player sucked. Only reason I like Xbox is cuz of Online, like everyone has it. But PS2 has such a wide variety of games (good ones too) to pick from.
And a game can be pretty, and have horrible gameplay.
1) most of ps2 games are available on xbox. there are very few games that are exclusive anymore. the only ones i can think of are the MGS series, the FF series (which will no longer be exlcusive) and god of war
2) i could suggest a good 20 to start you off
3) if by gameplay you mean it runs bad, you need to check you fact. if you mean that you dont like the game, then i guess that's up to you.
what ps2 games do you like?
Sony seems to have a grasps over most RPG companies as you see most well known RPGs are released on their systems. Xbox strictly relies on its power. The only exclusive game XBox has to offer that got a stir out of anyone is Halo.
It is true that the Xbox is more powerful then the PS2. But power means nothing in the world of video gaming (Except for those who are clueless to what a good game is). PS2, as well as GameCube, produced games that provided not only better gameplay aspects but a better experience.
As it's looking the Xbox 360 is probably going to bomb. Alot of the games are 3rd party produced and will probably be released on multiple platforms (when it comes to FPS's i'd rather have it on my computer). The problem I have with the PS3 and the Xbox360 is that they are going to practically be the same machine. Just different games and feels. Looking at the specs of the upcoming PS3 as opposed to the Xbox360, Sony is going to dominate in ever aspect.
One of the reasons i'm going to stick around with the Nintendo Revolution is because they're camp is acting as if they're going to provide something different. Of course i'll own a ps3, but the Revolution seems as if it's going to give me something more that the other systems will not offer in aspects of gaming. I mean come on now, it's Nintendo (Comments like this usually get flamed). The games that Shigeru Miyamoto produce are most times games that are forever rememberable.
I prefer not to dive into system wars. In nearly all cases the person defending their preferable machine will never change opinion or attitude towards the others.
specs dont mean that much, sure they will help produce better looking games, but graphics are only a bonus and how many developers are going to take full advantage of the specs? not many or none. once i realized that i moved from originally siding with the ps3 to the xbox360 because the games for it appeal to me much more. and no im not talking halo i hate it
Well when the 2 companies are practically producing the same multiconsole games wouldn't you rather get it on the stronger machine?
no because the games i want to play are on the 360
pdz,cod2,quake4,pgr3
Most people will probably opt to get CoD2 as well as Quake4 on PC. Although Perfect Dark and Project Gotham will be exclusive titles, we probably won't be seeing much of that from the Microsoft camp.
yea but since im a console gamer due to my crappy PC i will get them on the 360
