If you want the honest truth about your outcome it needs some more work. the c4d thing in back looks f#$%ed up it is not scaled correctly to fit the canvas size, or blended in to not look cut and pasted. The focal is a little blurry, try starting out with a bigger canvas and reducing image size when you are done to keep sharpness of image. also try to keep focal points like the face and sword clean and sharp looking, text placement is ok, maybe move it around to the left a little so its not covering up the facial focal points, and try a diff font. download a "300" font or something. other than those things its not bad. cool idea.
yours is better, only things I can see wrong or that need fixing are the lighting, your render is lit from above, but your sig has lighting from the left side, it's conflicting lighting, also it has some depth, but could use more, the entire render is sharpened, try only sharpening the focals like the head, and hands and keeping the other parts of the Assasins creed guy blurred slightly. good sig tho, it follows the tut perfect. might want to cover bottom of render with c4d somehow so it fits in with the sig instead of looking pasted on a bg. hope that helps you somehow.
Thanks for the advise mate, i didnt notice the lighting until u mentioned it! cheers:)
