911, Staged or Not?

i agree with jack..Bush isn't going to war for money reasons. If you want an arguement, bring up the fact that bush had a personal grudge with Sadam because sadam is linked to a failed assasination of his father. But honestly this topic is pointless because when Bush came into office he was planning on focusing on Domestic issues but instead, after the bombing of the WTC had to focus more on international issues....
your arguement doesn't have anything backing it up except the fact that you dislike bush.

"A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack." That's what was told to him yet he just sat there and did nothing. The first minutes in an attack are critical, to say that nothing would have changed is only acceptable because of the way things unfolded. What if there were more planes though, then those 10 minutes would have been critical in getting the Air Force involved.

yes it would have been much better to scare the children by getting up right away and running out. no, bush, and i agree with him, knew that he could not steer those planes away by getting up at that moment, so he chose to keep the children calm and finish the story. what would bush have done? would he have assimilated some top secret barrier to keep more planes from hitting the towers?

and i enjoyed your comment about how if we all liked bush, this wouldn't be a debate.. considering that at the core, this debate has nothing to do with bush, it's just that it is has been proposed by those who believe our government is out to get us, that bush is somehow behind all the horrific attacks on this country. poppycock.

Well nobody said he had to jump up and yell "OMFG WERE UNDER ATTACK". He could have just stood up and said "excuse me for one minute please I have to take an important phone call". I doubt that would have sent the children into a panic :rolleyes: .

Even if he did say something stupid that panicked the kids, who gives a shit. What's more important a few crying kids or saving thousands of innocent people from dying...get your priorities straight.

Well at the time nobody knew if there would be any more planes crashing. So even though there was the possibility of more planes being hijacked and crashed into populated areas, he still chose to just sit there and listen to a childrens story. I believe he even decided to hang around and answer a few questions afterwards, until his people finally came and told him that he has to leave now.

Although he couldn&#39;t have prevented the towers from falling, every second counts in these situations and he just sat there like an idiot. What if there were Bio Chemical weapons involved, then time is even more important

Well this is about Bush and if we all agreed it wouldn&#39;t be a debate.

I will say though that I don&#39;t believe he master minded the attacks. That&#39;s way too involved and smartly planned for him to been involved in it.

The airforce had already scrambled 3 F15 Eagles when the first plane hit the first World Trade Center, and Scrambled 3 more F16 Fighting Falcons on the report of another plane that was heading toward the Washington DC Area.

The F16&#39;s would have gotten there in time too (if Flight 93 didn&#39;t crash). Every Air Force base and Airport in the nation had their AWACS operating at the time and after the first attack. They knew how many planes were still in the air, and how many jets to scramble. They had the situation in the most control possible...

Bush knew that the Air Force and Department of Defense could handle the situation on their own for 10 mintues (if they couldn&#39;t, then they need some serious training). Telling the kids "Excuse me, I have to make an important phone call, I will be back in a minute." would have been lying to them because he wouldn&#39;t come back. Heck, if he had said that, I&#39;m sure even more people would think that was a stupid move. He most likely sped up his reading a bit because of this news, and was also probably thinking of what he could do when he was reading.

And who said it was Nuclear weapons in WTC.. it was controlled Demoltion with explosives.
