I've shown my sources a couple times already, I have yet to see you show a source. Until you show your sources, I won't show mine.
I just think that you don't want me to be right so you asked me to show you a source...
Think about this...
3 F-15 Eagles flying at thier top speed of 1,650 mph (2,655 km/h) vs a Commercial airlines which has a top speed of 550 mph.
I don't think Heron is paying attention to this thread anymore, but if you have your source you might as well show it. If you have one, show it and prove yourself right ;)

wherever the hell that came from..
i don't thin anyone finds war to be a good thing. but it is necessary at times, like now.
Yea, lets just have peace. Why don't we tell that to the terrorists beheading innocents on Al Jizzera (sp) every week. I'm sure they would kindley accept our offer. Maybe that wacky Iranian president that wants to "wipe Israel off the map" would accept it too, I think he is a great guy.
I don't remeber seeing any sources from you, link me to where you showed them.Quote:

How old are you again?Quote:

Thats if the planes are even flying at top speed, try doing a little more research. You'll see that they were only flying at around 25% - 30% of what they were capable of doing.Quote:

I don't see what age has to do with anything... there are 40 year old hobo's on the street, that an 8 year can outsmart. Quit trying to flaunt your age, it means nothing on the internet and especially in a debate.Quote:

From what I've heard from various reports was that the jets were flying at top speed. Why would they be flying at only 25-30% of what they were capable of in a crisis like this?
wow, CX MEMBERS UNITE, damn guys stop arguein juss shake hands an **** ur girlfriends, let it be done :)
cx is fallin apart!!!

Don't try to switch around my quotes, ^ that is the reason why I was asking how old you are. To me it was a childish statement to make. Also when you get older you will see just how much age has to do with the way you look at things, so yes it does factor into a debate and yes it does also mean something on the internet because if your a young kid in real life then your still a young kid on the internet even if your pretending not to be.Quote:

Anyways back to the argument at hand, if you wanted to see any of my sources you should have just asked...
Also it has always been that Generals in the military are in charge of NORAD and all of it's procedures since NORAD came into existence in 1957. However just 3 months before 911 the Vice President ordered that now he will be the one in control of NORAD and how it operates. That's the first time in history that a President or Vice President has done that....why?Quote:
According to NORAD's official 9/11 time line, the FAA notified NORAD at 8:40 a.m. Eastern time that there was something peculiar going on with American Flight 11. But NORAD didn't issue an order for fighters to scramble until 8:46 a.m., the time when American Flight 11 hit the first WTC tower. Six minutes later, at 8:52 a.m., two F-15 fighters responded to the order by launching from a base 153 miles from New York City. They still were not on the scene at 9:02 a.m. when the second airliner, United Flight 175, hit the second WTC tower. They wouldn't get there for another eight minutes, at 9:10 a.m. A NORAD senior officer, Major Gen. Larry Arnold, told NBC that when the fighters took off, they were flying straight to New York City. He also said that they were going "about 1.5 Mach, which is, you know, somewhere—11- or 1,200 miles an hour." But note that the F-15 fighters took 18 minutes to cover those 153 miles, which comes out to more like 510 mph. Yet, according to the Air Force, the F-15 has a top speed of 1,875 mph. So, you have to wonder, why were they flying at less than a third of what they're capable of?
According to NORAD, the FAA notified it at 9:24 a.m. that there was something suspicious with American Flight 77. Two F-16 fighters were immediately ordered launched, and they got airborne at 9:30 a.m. The New York Times reports that at first, they were headed to New York at "top speed" reaching "600 mph within two minutes," before vectoring toward Washington instead. These planes didn't arrive in the vicinity of the Pentagon until 9:49 a.m., 12 minutes after American Flight 77 hit it. (They then stayed in the skies above Washington to protect against the fourth errant airliner, United Flight 93, with orders to shoot it down if necessary, a command mooted by an apparent passenger insurrection that caused that plane to crash in a Pennsylvania field.) The F-16s covered the 130 miles of their journey in 19 minutes, which would be an average speed of about 410 mph. Now, that's artificially low because these fighters spent several minutes flying toward New York, but even allowing for this, you don't come up with anything like what the Air Force (which may know better than the New York Times) says is the plane's top speed of 1,500 mph. So, again, why didn't NORAD feel the need for speed? It wasn't because of FAA regulations prohibiting supersonic flight over land in U.S. civil airspace. A NORAD spokesman told me that fighters violate that speed restriction "when circumstances warrant."[/b]
1: What most people consider a "young kid" is usually younger than 10, I'm 15.Quote:

2: I don't see why a person who is 15 can't be more intellectual than a 33 year old...
3: I think you're mistaking age with realization. Realization can come at any age, it just depends on how receptive or open-minded you are.
4: In a debate, everyone is put at the same level. Age doesn't effect anything except that persons ideas, but that only depends on if they are done with their education and how much they have recieved.
This debate should be closed if the fight continues. You and I have come to the point where we are fighting instead of debating...
