Well i have 512 Mb ram i have like ... 52 processes going with ease.
And i have half of the memory free... you should really clean up your comp and look for register cleaners and such.. you should have half of your ram free.
i had problem with freezing, too and i solve it that i bought new ventilator on my procesor , cause it was on fire , DOwnload SPeedFan and heck temperatures ;)Quote:

get a stick of ram (512mb is good and it only cost you around £35 if you dont get ripped off) i have 1g and a bit and it runs sweeto
depends on if his mother board is compatible with the stick of ram and judging by it's speed and capacity and what not there will be maybe a 1gig maximum allowance to be inserted but it depends, MaDD you should try it hehe :lol: get a manual first though :P

come on those scammers (dell) sell ones with only 512 for stupid prices and people dont seem to complain, except me because i know that they are scamming people out of their money cos they know shit about pcs
yes, you deffinetly need more memory. try kingston valu-ram. they're cheap and pretty good all around. 512mb i would say, should do it.
you only have 11mb free on your physical ram, which is insance. it shoudl be ten times that.
