Way to shaded, shade only half next time, or else the whole rest gets thrown away. The rest is decent but as Shajin said, the purple blotch is random for the colors in this.
I love the colorful starry background
You should put less shadow on the planet though
good job
The texture of the planet isn't working, it looks like a big farm. The glow on the planet is not working either, make it white with linear dodge. Starfields sometimes work better as soft hazy nebula type things. The shadow on the planet is too much aswell.
Other than that it is quite a good piece. Keep improving ;)
Thanks. I realized the hard way that you can't do a third of one tutorial and then go into another one, then go back into the first one...so a lot of it was just guesswork.
you say you have thick skin, so improve on the following:
- Your stars need to be brighter
- remove the glow from the planets darkside
- use a white glow rather than yellow or one that blends with the bg
- dont use that horizontal texture on the planet
- try & keep your starfeilds in one colour range or blend them better
no offense but its easier to be straight forward than nice
Umm... you should read rabies' planet tutorial in the members only section it should help you improve too... Love to see your next one...
Yeah i read the rabies one, and the alyn one...but i realized you can't apply half of one to the other lol.
