Alot of people liked FF7... But I liked Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1 the best. Just the pure difficulty of it kept me coming back. I have beaten FF9 and FF10.. And Im currently working on FF7.
And Red, graphics dont make the game, or should even be too much of a bother when thinking if you like it or not, especially if its an rpg as in-depth as Final Fantasy.
It's good that I read about people liking storylines.. With all the depressing games coming out (GTA...Halo...just to name a few), its good to know some people sill care about the story.
well for me the story line is what makes the game, graphics does have a part don't get me wrong but storyline beats that. Hayoto, final fantasy 7 has been out for around 8 years released in 11/97 or march/31/97 for japan, they're bringing out new ones called final fantasy 7 advent children and final fantasy 7 before crisis which are apparently going to be amazing but i don't have much detail right now. yes randy i did buy and play all of them didn't take too long compared to playing them separately... also there are many names for summons in each ff :D
FF7 is the best simply becus the storyline was cool. 9 was great but it just got to confusing. I loved 10 but the storyline was a little cheesy and you just didn't have chocobo's. Also I have one thing to say about FF.......

Woah..something is wrong here. It seems like none of you have played ff3(6 in the us i think)...whatever one kefka is in. Kefka is the greatest boss in all of video game history. FF7 had an expectable storyline...i didn't play the whole thing...but it blew from what i played. The graphics suck...and "graphics don't make the game!" but still...come on. Your eyes get tired of looking at the same shitty animation for 100 hours of gametime or however long it is. X was great because of blitzball, and tidus is one of my all time fav. chars. I've never played 1,2,4,5,9 though...so i can't comment on those. 8 was pretty deep, i liked it..X-2 wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem, the only thing that wasn't the greatest was how much of a pushover the final boss was. Playing through that huge dungeon with shinta or whatever his name at the end seems like a real badass adventure though...100 floors...holy cow lol.
I've played FF7, not alot of it, but it was mighty fun. so was..8? the one with squal and them. X-2 I liked alot. except for the final boss, I killed it in under 20 minutes and didn't break a sweat. Via Infinito (the 100 floor place) WOW :P I think I got to floor...like..80? I never did beat all 100 floors. very fun though

i got ff7,8,9,x,x-2 and all were kick ass games especialy ff7 with the story line and those materials are awesome

well extreme i can't see how you can say ff7 has poor graphics when you say ff3 is good ( or so it seems) and if you look on my rated ff games in the best game section of gaming topics you'll see ff3 comes 2nd for me, because of storyline but for ff7 and it's time you can't blame it's graphics it's at least better than having 12 pixels for a character :lol:
