YES! Although not exact or anything, you did pick up on a major theme, which is that the character is shooting himself.

This deffinetly needs more work, It looked good at 4am, but not so much now. lol. it was just a pre-production mock-up for either a spray paint stencil or a painting, but now I think i'll make it digital art instead.

heh that always happens to me, i make something that i think looks great at the moment, but doesn't look so good the next day. anyways nice artwork.

i have a question, do you use a reference picture/drawing when vectoring? or do you just do everything in Illustrator.

I usually trace right over the top of a photo or a drawing. Some things I do by hand, but the more complex shapes are easier to work with if you have a drawing to follow already.
