I've got it too. It's simple and I really like the interface. And most of the friends I want to call have a gmail account. So I really enjoy it and IMO the quality of the sound is quite nice

how in hell can you say aim is better than anything at least this is a little more user friendly, there will be updates.. brainstorming sessions and they'll incorporate being able to talk to msn, yahoo or whatever users so don't go whining yet, after all it's only in beta at the moment :lol:Quote:

the reason the sound quality is good is because google talk uses something called VOip (voice over ip) so it is like digital phone so you get the effect of actually being on the phone to them which is of course better than the internet :P
I added it and I don't really care for it that much. I don't like how it loads every time I start windows - I had to go into MSCONFIG to remove it.
Is anyone actually using it?
LoL..There's an option to not have it start when Window start. Also, I don't use it because no one that I know does.
