It's a Petax Optio 450, 4.0 megapixels, 5x zoom. I have no problems with it, it's a great camera, although it's not my own =). I share it with my mom. Thanks, do you think all my pictures are nice ? =D cool. Lol, it makes you ill ? well,... ehrm, why?. I can understand if it looks "weird" or something, but it makes you ill? I think it looks good. You can tell where the focus is in the shot, as you also said.Quote:

Lol, I was pretty sure that he messed up with the acuity/sharpness and the good look of the photo was nothing else than a nice mistake from jerners side... turns out he took like 20+ photos, and this was the best* =)
Nice going, man... Keep 'em up!

Well, it might look like I did, but the reason of this outcome is the sun, placed perfect on this clear day, combined with the Bug itself and that the log it was standing on, weren't placed behind a big tree or anything similar. Another reason was of course, the Macro-tool on the camera =D . The picture weren't really a mistake, but I did take a couple of photos, just to get the focus on the 'Right' place, and I had to make sure that he didn't move while I was taking the photo, which actually happened once or twice. Although, I didn't take more than 20 photos really. haha.
thanks, I sure will, -- try to at least =D
Thanks Morph! Well, yeah that's in your nature then I guess, to see these kind of animals. I myself spend lots of time out in the nature in the summers, since we've got a house "in" the forest. I haven't checked out the animals that close though, in an artistic way. Until now of course. I even think that flies are cool. Take a shot at it from the right direction and use macro, and the picture can turn out just awsome, even if the creature itself is "ugly". Now I just want to take more pictures of animals, I like doing that, and I like the outcomes. We've got all kinds of creatures there, as; Moose, Bear, Wolf, lynx, eagle, owl. Although, I doubt I would ever dare to take a close-up photo on one of those, lol. But if I would, it would be cool as hell. Maybe I should make a stunt and try it out. And of course there are a lot of bugs, specially mosquitos, and there's wild hogs there too, and they are freaky as Hell, they sure can scare the shit out of you. Sorry for this little story of my life, but I just got carried away, and I didn't have anything better to do.Quote:

But to see such an insect isnt exactly something new for me =). Born and raised out in the "country" or how I can call it =P. I really wish I had an digital camera so I could take picture from my fathers place. We got a huge forest behind his house filled with beutiflull nature and wildlife. But anyhow to take this picture must have taken you strength and time ( insect doesnt like to stand on one place for some time =D ).* And the view is very proffesional . So to the conclusion. I like this picture alot. With all the effects and all.
Really good job m8 :). **Thumbs up**.

Thank you again, and yes, it did take a lot of effort to get this picture as close to perfect as possible for me. I tried different angles, waited for him to move a bit, different options on the camera, different levels on the macro, which also made me stick around for a while in the woods. Thanks again mate =D Happy you liked it =D
yup. Long time since we did rate other peoples work. Good old times, haha. But the forum is expanding and it's getting bigger and better in my opinion!Quote:

I do appreciate your commenting and that you liked the shot, of course. The first thing eh ? could it be because it's the first thing that loads in the picture / is placed in the highest part of the picture? haha. And as Rabieshund said, you don't have to rate other peoples work here. Well, you shouldn't anyway =) but thanks for liking it so much anyway, I do appreciate it a lot, just keep the ratingthing in mind =) see you around!

I'm sure Jerner appreciates it, but try to stop rating artworks. On this forum we give only critisicm, no rates.
