Kanye West was the guys name. Kanye completely broke from script, they were supposed to be talking about the levees breaking and flooding New Orleans. Kanye had his own ideas however.
I love the fact that he got this in on live TV. Take a look at Bush's activites up to, during, and after Katrina. He was on vacation the whole time! Not to mention that the entire government relief effort was bungled so badly that nobody can tell up from down anymore. I don't think it's that George Bush doesn't care about black people. I think George Bush doesn't care about anyone.
I agree. Ready? Here is a breakdown of the five days it took to get down there.
Day 1.) On vacation
Day 2.) STILL on vacation (golfing)
Day 3.) Goes to Good Morning America
Day 4.) Goes to town hall meeting about medicare
Day 5.) Goes to San Fransisco to talk more about medicare
Day 6.) Finally gets down to New Orleans to mourn the loss of the house of Trent Lott.
Thats our president.
