Yeah. Flash would be a good idea for the menu in theory. The only problem is that some people do not support flash. Maybe an imageswap? JavaScript? Ah well, if you need the nav to be done in Flash or JavaScript (I prefer the look of flash personally), like I said, just PM me. I have 3 years exp in flash.
Heh, actually, in this day and age, almost everybody supports flash. And to fix it if they don't, just make the first page an image that says "to view this site you must have flash player 7" and put a link to DL it. Then above that image have a flash docment that is just your logo and links to the main site, so if people don't have flash, they won't see the link. Then if htey have flash, they just click on teh flash document :)
I know about putting the flash download link, I do that anyway, but, you are wrong about something. Not everyone supports flash. There are still people who do not use browsers that support it or never download it. I know several of these people. ;)
Well yea, but most browsers now have built in support. or notify you when you need to DL a plugin. And i didn't say everybody, i said, most everybody. Also, anybody that doesn't support flash doesn't deserve to be seeing a portoflio where flash work is displayed :P. They obviously aren't very internet/tech savvy, and as such if they are looking for work they might as well go to a html person and pay 50 bucks for some kid to do it :P.
Yeah. I actually get people like that all the time! I fix stuff for them and enable flash, etc. It pays really, REALLY well! :D
