i only use macromedia dreamweaver mx 2004...and if i wanna change just some small things (like i have forgotten some " or > or <), i use the usual editor from windows.

i have to add that i only use the code-side of the program, hardly ever the design-side.
You know what I mean. Let's take the example Dreamweaver. You can just click out what you want. OF course, the program is very good itself. I might aswell use it, however not for the wysiwyg function. (love the tabs, so that you can easily switch between html and the css file) ^^Quote:

Yeah its a kick ass tool for web development. Not bad for php also! donno about mysql, but then I've sorta gone off MySql since they went so commercial. Sorta lean more towards PostgreSQL now a days.

I started with, Dreamweaver 8, but I wanted to learn the codes more, and have a smaller application itself, then I was lead to PHPDesigner, great program. Small size, color code, and line indicators for easy use, a simple preview that acts like opening ur page in firefox or explorer, and you can add codes that you may reuse later.
dreamweaver and flash
I find that with Dreamweaver 8 you can greatly increase your speed with auto tag compiltion, and tabbed files. Plus, with basic html you can switch to design view and get an idea of how it looks.
If im putting a layout together then i'd use macromedia dreamweaver . I use php to put different pages into the same layout so i just do a layout with DW and then write the pages in notepad
