I always put in and put out the electricityrope if it isn't working

Routers are all different, different ways.
Normal reset and Hard reset, hard reset sets it back to default.

With most routers you unplug it and the first three seconds it boots up hold in the reset buttn, wokred for me.

Note: This resets your password + username as well, normally to admin and 1234
