Version 2005 just came out. It's a computer which can hook up to your television system. Unfortunately, as cool as it sounds, TiVo beats it.

i got tivo and i love it! its only one box on top of our tv. we got the 80 hour one for 100 dollars in a pack that came with a $100 rebate off the lifetime fee. i swear, it is excellent. sooo awesome! you can set it to record anything, i've seen tons of movies evven that way! you search for movies and you find channels that you dont even know existed!!! seriously its awesome!
