Thanks for the inspiration type comment. I'll for surely keep looking at tutorials and figuring things out. It's a complicated program at first but once you get the interface worked around it starts coming to you
it is actually user friendly and is not complicated at all unless you want to c.o.f.f.e.e and make your own plugins with java / c++Quote:

3ds max / lightwave / maya / etc are more difficult to use
the learning curve on c4d is pretty swift, i'd say about 12 hours and you learn to program inside out , whereas 3ds max is more 40 hours, but in c4d you can import maya/3ds/lw etc files as .obj. or their scenes which is very useful.
i suggest the cinema 4d cafe , since im not allowed to post links if you type in c4d cafe in google i'm sure it'll come up, its a very useful site for beginners and advanced alike.
