I have a Radeon X850 PRO would it be ok to use max resolution?
It depends. The max resolution of you monitor is probably alot lower then the max of your graphics card. Just keep chaning it higher and higher. You monitor will eventually say "Resolution out of Parameters". =)
I'm at 1280*1024 now on 70Hz recommended is on 80hz(by monitor).
alot of monitors have recommended resolutions, if you go higher it could be that your monitor wont refresh as good anymore, resulting in frameratedrops.
could be that i'm wrong though.

I have a 1998 16mbvoodoo Banshee graphics card and i use 1600x1200 and theres no difference, if anything its gone faster O_o
I realised.. it allows you to play on a higher res INGAME. =)

In non-gaming situations, I always use the highest possible resolution.
oh lol well i cant read any messages anymore all i get is SQL errors so i dont get on alot :angry:
I got like one of the first flat screens... so thats why my max is 1024x768 :P
