I think Mikael quit Bloodbath because that Opeth were doing so well. Opeth is my favourite metal band of all times, you MUST check them out. Progressive death metal mixed with calm parts with Mikael's ANGELIC singing voice is the shit. :D Listen to their latest album Ghost Reveries. It just rocks. Best album of the year. Or maybe best album of the decade. xD

I'm not big on progressive music, and have hardly listened to any melodic lately, but I'll check them out anyways. Right now I'm listening to a lot of Deicide, Bolt Thrower, and Destroyer 666.
