well just to get back on topic let me just say i've been there before. my school tried to do the same. they even tried to make us wear ids so that they can be seen at all time. Now i'm going to tell you this, he might talk big game but this guy isn't going to get any where. because when it really comes down to it the teachers need to also help and send the kids to him. As long as most of your teachers are ok then your fine they hate this shit as much as you do to.

The school is located near the Milton Hershey School, which is a large school for those who have one or no parents (large black population). Anyways, the main reason for the changes is the new affiliation of gangs (we live in a well-kept, rural, rich town). Ironically, there have been more black students transferring to our High School because we have a much better academic program.
I think this is an outrageous,and excessive precendent by our new vice principle.

In UK (most schools) we have to all wear a special uniform, we have nevver been allowed any electronic things in (Yet way over 50% Have an Ipod,MP3 etc.)
Its like OMG i can't wear what i want!!! we have to wear the same thing all the time :P You will likve, big deal, they tell you not to bring somrthing into school, they can't force it off you. We are not allowed hoodies, nothing has stopped me wearing one yet so why should school?
I look at school as prison, you want to break all the rules you can without getting shitted on, go for it.

The one thing I like about the USA is that they dont get school uniforms. I hate our uniform its green...GREEN DAMNIT!!! Its a Blazer and grey trousers and we HAVE to wear a tie its really crap. But I dont care because I look great in everything :P jks.
i used to have a uniform until 4th grade, when my mom forced me to go to public school
it was a blue/maroonish plaid jumper (dress), with a peter pan collered (like round collered) light blue blouse, navy blue socks, and navy shoes
In the winter we were allowed to were navy dress pants instead of the jumper
It wasnt so bad, because my mom isnt exactly a very femine person who would go shopping with me all the time, cause she hates shopping. I wouldnt have many other clothes to wear anyway.
I only relised how much uniforms suck until i didnt have one

I would DIE if I had that dress code! I dont where skirts, but if i did, they would be a little bit above the knee. I cant STAND long shorts! Sweatshirts NEED pockets to be good (i also like to smuggle out chips i bought in the lunchroom and put them in my locker for a snack during the 3hour jazz band practices after school :P Wasting food is bad). I have absolutely no clue why he put in the socks one, but that would suck too. Lastly, I HATE T-SHIRTS! I cant stand elbow lengthed-sleaved shirts!Quote:

You get in trouble if you are seen with one during school, but who the hell would use them then?
