God damn Jerner, that's nice.
Shading is very well done.
I do have to say the ear looks funny to me. Not pointed enough I think, and maybe too...cone shaped. Try rounding it out more on the bottom right side. If you look you can see that it curves in, try making it more rounded out instead.

I think the ear is ok but maybe too long, and i didn't know link had a tail LoL!
As I said on the msn, this painting is really good and it is fun to see how you really have improved both with the pencil and the colouring :P. Though I want some "bluish/greyish" "Shadow's" on it to look even better :)

It's always fun to hear that someone likes ones work . haha you think this is such an improvement from my earlier work? wow, I didn't know that actually, but sure, I do improve all the time and I always learn new stuff an techniques, which is great :) I'm sure it would look really good, but I think it's too late to change that now, and I weren't that smart when I was coloring it ;)Quote:

haha, well it might be true, but I wanted it to be something that represented Link for who he is, and I didn't actually care if I made it look too obvious. The story behind the tail is quite easy. I made this piece for an art-Jam at DeviantArt , and the rules were to Re-design, Re-invent or Re-create 'Link', and now here he is, and the tail was just an idea I got when I made this. did I answer your question? You could esaily go into character design, and seeing some of your older work, concept art. You should really start trying to do some concepts, cars, landscapes, etc. In a movie, they get paid more than matte painters, and thats saying something :P
yeah character design could be something. It sure sounds fun! I'm not really sure what concept art Really means, but I've got a clue. I'm not sure if I'm good enough to draw scenes for movies yet, haha - or did I missunderstand you? please correct me if I'm wrong then :P I so glad that you think I'm good, and sure I'd love to try out for all of those things :P but I might have to get a little bit better and practice a few more years :) I mean, there are soo many awsome artists out there, and one day I might get up to their skills, but the problem is that I'm 4-6 years younger than the youngest out there ;)
