Windows adopting into the apple?

if you keep updating your virus protection software regularly and scan every so often, you should never get viruses... unless you indulge in funky porn as bfg said. even then your av software should block it.

If you use Firefox, use a spyware scanner, and a virus scanner once in a blue moon, you will never get a virus. NEVER.

I find Apple quite popular at school nowadays, its like even numbers b/w laptops with Windows and ones with OS X.

Like Schwabs said with the Ghost in the Machine phenomenon, irregularities in code are inevitable and every operating system is prone to 'virii' :P Since all viruses are just malicious exploitations of those "bugs"

I think OS X has a UNIX-like foundation, where a normal users are blocked from changing the OS environment. So if a virus would infect the computer, it would only damage the files that the user could modify, thus saving the OS from being affected. This structure is what keeps UNIX-like systems very secure and this is what Windows does not have.

But then again viruses aren't as common now its more worms and spyware.

Damn Straight, but aside from that I think that Windows is getting better and improving with every version but along with these improvements, come an increase in processor lag if you dont have a good comp, espically with gaming...yea...and I also HATE apple...
