UNiverse is always expanding ;) So infinity is too. even then there are parallel dimensions and black holes etc to be explored :)
I agree with sublime, the answer is 42.
Well, by our standards, what is infinity?
The universe by scientific standards is not infinite, but really does have an edge.
As for the facft about .9999.... = 1, it is not, becusase there is always the .1, .01, .001...... missing.
.1, .01, .001.....are infact numbers. Most of you people now look at it by saying " What is the number inbetween them?!?!? HUH Tell me that!!!!!! "
All I have to say is this, have you thought about .99999999....999...999 ½ ???
Most of you say well, you cant have a fraction in a decimal number, and I ask why not?
what the hell...
0.99999999 = excatly that
It does not equals 42 get your head sorted.
rofl Obviously somebody hasn't seen hitchhikers guide to the galaxy...

You can't have 0.000....1 missing since 0.99999.... is a REPEATING/RECURRING decimal, it will never have an end and since it doesn't have an end, there is no 0.000.....1 to end it with.
i <3 shurai :D
lol
it's about rounding to the nearest, that's what is about

and it doesn't... no matter how far you go down, it will never equal EXACTLY 1.
