Their record sales are impressive and I have respect for them but.........meh......indie music......xDDDDD

They're alright. They are certainly known in the states. I don't really care for them, which is kind of strange because i do like bands similar to them. Try Kasabian, The Strokes, and Muse.

The problem with indie music is that too many of the bands are exactly the same as each other, the only completely unique indie band I can think of is Muse...the rest just all seem too similiar. Plus bar chords are boring, It's not a terrible genre of music, certainly more interesting than rap music. But it just bores me to death.
