I'm telling you dude, studies and polls show that the majority of people don't use 800x600, and although you should design for it, you should have a fluid layout, not something so small to start that it gets killed expanding. I'm saying you should design for 1024 and make it adaptable to 800x600. And windows comes using 1024+ so noobs have that res.
