Move the pieces into the centre of the board, and put some HDRI reflection in. Thatll make it perfect. Wait, even better, put more pieces in the background, so the DOF looks better.

Well, i shouldnt tell you what to do cause its still really good. Just a little advice.

i think claqy render itself looks best, i hate that bg on previous 2, anyways gj

So, thats why I had them be the only ones on there. And just to let you know, there is HDRI reflection in place there. That's what the pieces/board are reflecting. I used it for reflection, but I didn't use the HDR probe to light the scene.

Sorry, i phrased it wrong. You should put reflection on the board itself :) Like.. a marble board or something :)

White gloves would look cool on the black peice, and black gloves on the white peice. I really like it, it's actually pretty cool :D

Some other poses could be like... a pawn strangling his own king :) Taking the power!!

Nah. The lighting is actually brilliant, and.yeah, just nice work again.. V2 for me :D :D :D
