from martins description of a matte painting the smoke on the rear of the plane and the fire don't look quite so realistic i mean it's good and all but it gives it that painted look.. which is neat and all but not very realistic the yellow tint on the snow has gone so much better, but then there's that lighting gradiant from left to right which over powers the clouds and takes out the depth so perhaps balance out the lighting on the left side slightly to relieve it, also the vlouds themselves although may not be, appear at some bogus angle to me the difference from soft to billowing isn't nice and some manip work yourself would be neat on them. Other than that good work.. you gen that snowy mountain yourself? if not you should give it a go..
