I think it's amazing, foreground and background. The skill involved is more than I see in alot of work (no offense meant to anyone I just think alot of people click about and see what they can come up with) and I actually think mixing styles is a brilliant thing. My only problem would be that the composition of the whole thing feels wrong, probably due to the large amount of space around it. Haven't worked out how it could look better just yet though.
I think the styles look pretty awesome together. The only thing that bothers me is the perspective on the handle///logo (eh?) It looks messed up in a couple of places but apart from that, it looks pretty awesome.

As mentioned before, the handle kinda looks a little weird, dunno how to describe it. The sparkles at the end of the sword are a little off center with the tip and should be a little shiny imo, maybe because I like shiny things.
I love the background and great job with the text. I also like those petals or w/e they are that are around the sword, it looks awesome. It's great, keep up the good work.
